Dallas’ Finest 7v7 is a premier youth American football organization based in Dallas, Texas, dedicated to developing young athletes into well-rounded players and people. Founded by former collegiate and professional athlete Charles Headen III, our programs focus on skill development, teamwork, and character building.
With programs spanning 7-on-7, flag football, tackle football, and individual skills training, we provide comprehensive development opportunities for athletes of all levels.
THE FOUNDER
Meet Charles Headen III
Founder & Head Coach
Dallas' Finest was founded by Charles Headen III — a former collegiate and pro athlete with a passion for developing young athletes into well-rounded players and people.
Originally from Philly, Charles was a standout at La Salle College High School, where he earned First-Team All-PCL honors in football and track, and set the school record in the 100m (10.75). He also competed with Philly’s Finest 7v7, one of the nation’s top programs.
He went on to play at Shippensburg University, finishing with over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns in three seasons. After that, he earned his Master’s in Sports Management while playing at SMU in Dallas.
Charles signed with the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, then had a breakout year with the Frisco Fighters (IFL), earning Special Teams Player of the Year with 12 total touchdowns. His final pro stint was with the Edmonton Elks in the CFL.
Now based in Dallas, he’s building Dallas’ Finest 7v7 to give back to the game that shaped his life — developing the next generation of athletes with elite-level coaching and mentorship.
